Well...There is not much going today. Basically we are babysitting and that is about it. Of course there will be the daily stuff getting done. Saturday my mom is going to take the Kittens to Walmart in hopes that she will come home empty handed!!! I don't like giving them away! I get to attached to them. Then I get real SAD :( I am only joking. I do okay with it, but I don't want to go!! Saturday is also my parents anniversary!! They will be married 19 years. That is about all for this weekend. Pretty dull huh??

A Late Night

Well...Today's story is going to be interresting!!! Last night I went to put my dog outside and to my surprise, we had a raccoon on the deck. So I hit the glass window to scare it off and all it did was go up the tree. So I thought will go away. So I went to bed. Well while I was in bed I heard a noise. So I went to see if it was back. As I looked out I noticed that there were 2 of them. As I got a closer look one was a oppossum and the other a raccoon!!! All we could think of is the cats! So I got my dad's pellet gun and shot the oppossum in his back and all you could see was the dirt from his fur going everywhere!!! They were bouncing off of him!! So....when the raccoon started coming down from the tree I took the pellet gun and shot it twice in the head! Well.....They bounced of his head. So as the pellets are bouncing he is steadily looking at me!! So that did not work. By the time my dad got home from work the had vanished!! And this was from 11:30 to 1:30 am. Yesterday was just a DAY!! We went out to eat with my Aunt and Uncle. Then we went to a fun park and road go-carts and did the batting cages! So I am really tired, but I will get over it right?? Let me know how your day was yesterday??? ANY RACCOONS OR OPPOSSUMS???

Today, A Recipe

Today I thought that I would do something different. I am going to do a recipe!!

Quick Salsa Chicken

You will need,
2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 teaspoons Old El Paso taco seasoning mix

1/2 cup Old El Paso Thick and chunky salsa

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon sour cream, if desired

What you will need to do is,

1)Heat the oven to 375*F. Sprinkle both sides of chicken breast with taco seasoning mix, place in ungreased 8-inche square glass baking dish. Pour salsa over the chicken.

2)Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is fork-tender and juice runs clear. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the chicken, bake 3 to 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Serve with sour cream.

Personally I have never tried this, but I thought it sounded good!! If any of you happen to try it let me know how it taste!! Okay!

Today has been your typical Wednesday!! Taking showers, finding and ironning clothes and getting dinner when the time comes! With us babysitting is another one. I am thankful that I have the water to take a shower with and the clothes to find and iron!! And a cousin to babysit!! I am thankful for the food to cook as well. Tonights dinner will be sausage and something!! I am not sure what else yet. What all are you thankful for? First of all I am thankful for the salvation that God gave me almost 11 years ago. And for my family and our house, my church and my dog!!

A trip to Kansas

In the next couple of weeks we will be taking a trip to Kansas. We will leave on June 3rd and come back on the 8th. We are going to visit my Grandparents. I have never met them. It is going to be an interresting visit! Please pray as we make that visit. They are lost. They are my mom's parents. Their names are Jerry and Alice Puder. We would like to get as many people praying for them as possible. This is the first time that my mom will see them in almost 15 years. It is going to be a 16 hour drive!! We are going to be traveling at night. PLEASE PLEASE PRAY!!!! I am very nervous about meeting them. Does anyone know what it is like to meet your grandparents for the first time when you are 16 yrs old??? It is one of those things that you are like...." I wonder if they will like me?? " So naturally I am nervous! We all are! Just please pray that we will have a good trip and that the Lord will use us while we are there!

As some of you already know, we have 5 kittens in the basement!! Not to mention we have 3 cats that due to have kittens. DOES ANY ONE WANT A CAT FULL OF KITTENS??? Do any of you like cats or kittens?? I do like them...but not that much!! Well we know that our cats know the Bible! It say go and multiply!!! They took it seriously!! Thankfully they are all outside. We don't have to deal with them. Most of the time they run off and have them anyway! So anyone want one??? Hahaha!

To My Friend

Here is a poem that I wrote for my best friend on her 15th birthday. I hope that you enjoy it.

I just wanted to say to a special friend of mine,
You mean the whole world in just a matter of time.
I am so glad that God put you there for me,
And forever I pray together we'll be.
We've been through the good and yes even the bad,
But to our surprise we've always been glad.
And so life goes on and time will breeze by,
And every now and then I will call to say Hi.
And this I write for a very special friend,
And this friendship we have will last till the end.
See both of us girls have gotten along great,
But we've both had our share of a very full plate.
May God always bless you and ever abide,
Because you are my friend and I will always be at your side.
Dedicated to Elizabeth Jones.
The best friend that anyone could ever ask for!!!!
I hope you enjoyed that! I am so glad that God gives me the words for poems. I have not wrote one in a while. When I do I will post them!!
If you have wrote any poems or have a favorite one let me know!!!

I just wanted to put on here that today is my Dad's birthday!!
Today we are going to have his cake, he will open his gifts and we will have a blast I am sure!!!
We are having a Jello Cake. Watermelon Jello cake!!
I am sure that it is going to taste interresting!! I have never had that flavor before!!
Anyway!!! HAppy Birthday Daddy! Love you!!

As if the cross was not enough!!!

1) If you could see me as I am
My flaws and imperfections
All the lessons I have learned
Through lifes unanswered questions
And in spite of all of this
Jesus knows the way I feel
And he gave his life to say
He loves me still.

As if the way the solders mocked his name
Was something I deserved
As if the crown of thorns upon his head
Was what my life was worth
As if he needed one more way to show
His mercy and his love
He said I am forgiven
As if the cross was not enough.

2) There's no way I could have earned
The grace that he has shown me
Then with every step I take
His miracles surround me
When just measure of his love
Would have covered every need
Even when he chose to go
To Calvary.

As if the way the solders mocked his name
Was something I deserved
As if the crown of thorns upon his head
Was what my life was worth
As if he needed one more way to show
His mercy and his love
He said I am forgiven
As if the cross was not enough.

I don't have to see the empty grave
To know that I am free
For the blood that stained Golgotha's hill
Has covered me.

He said I am forgiven
As if the cross was not enough.

A Teenagers Prayer

Each day brings new beginnings
Decisions I must make
I am the only one to choose
The road I will take

I can choose to take the road of life
That leads to great success
Or travel down the darkend road
That leads to great distress

Please open my eyes dear Lord
That I might clearly see
Help me stand for what is right
Bring out the best in me

Help me Lord to just say "no"
When temptation comes my way
That I might keep my body clean
And fit for life each day

When my teenage years are over
I know that I will see
That life is lived it's very best
With you walking next to me

I would like to know what the most memorable revival you have ever been in. The most memorable memory that I have of revival was last year. Bro. Darrell Hayes was doing a series on Revival. He had only been preaching for about 10 minutes when a man from the congregation started shouting and having a good time in the Lord. Before you knew it everyone was bawling and shouting! This was at our home church. It was AMAZING!! I thank God that he works in hearts of man. Just think of where we would be today if he had not worked in our hearts about salvation. This July I will be saved 11 years this year!! July 11th 1994! People say that they do not believe that a 5 year old kid can get it, but you know something....I DID!! There is no doubt about it.

Kick Off!

Today is the kick off of our revival!! We have Bro. Darrell Hayes preaching. For those of you who live around here you are all welcome to join us! The services are daily at 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please help us pray that God would do a wonderful work in our church! Tonights message was GREAT!! He talked about how God's know what you are going through and how he will help you in the way that you need it the most. This mornings message was great as well. Please come and join us if you can.

Our Testimony

A testimony takes years to build, and a minute to destroy. Be careful of your testimony!! That is something that needs to be protected at all cost. We should not be ashamed of our testimony. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of the Lord, II Timothy 1:8 People will watch us to see how we live. We will either give out a good testimony or a bad testimony. We need to pray daily that God would help us protect our testimony in the way he would have us to! The word testimony means, a solmn affirmation made for the purpose of establishing or proving a fact. We are to prove through our lives that God is real, and what he can do for a person. We can establish a persons belief in God by the way we live. When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. II thessalonians 1:10 Try to live in a godly manner so that others will come to know the Lord. All you have to do is ask for God's help! We can't do it alone!! Guard your testimony!!!
