"One Prayer Short"

I pray that this is a help to someone, it was to me!

Have you been praying for a loved one to get saved, someone with a health problem or a personal problem for a long time? You get to thinking "I'm just going to stop praying about it, it is taking to long." Everytime I think about stopping I have this thought "What if I stop, it will definately never happen. What if I am just one prayer short of it happening?" I have gone through this before. It is not easy.
We have been praying for my mom's family for about 12 years now to get saved. Two years ago my Aunt Sherri got saved! What if we would have stopped praying and had given up on her after only a few years of praying? She could have still been lost today. When she got saved it gave us all a hope for my Grandparents to get saved. I am still going to pray for them. I don't want to get to Heaven and have God tell me that I was only one prayer short of seeing them saved!!! I don't want to be one prayer short!

I Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

I Samuel 12:23 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you....

Don't quit praying! Don't take the chance of being one prayer short!

Preparations are being made.

I have started to make preparations for our trip to camp next week. I have yet to pack the bags, but I have washed the clothes for it and have picked out some of the outfits. I always enjoy this time of the year when it is time for campmeeting!! We not only get to go and enjoy a week full of wonderful preaching, but we get to enjoy the fellowship of wonderful friends that we only get to see at the campmeeting.
I will not be posting next week due to not being here. I will try to put some Audio posts on here....if I can find the time to do so!
If you have your volume up you may notice that I have music. I had a gospel radio put on there. They play wholesome good gospel music. They play music from the camp and music from the McGill's girls home. Hope you enjoy hearing it!!

The Faith of Children

Well..todays post is taken from the words of a little guy that is the age of 6, J!! We just had to give a chuckle at what he said today. In his words. "Nannie, you know what butterflies make?" Nannie said "No, J what do they make?" J said "Nannie, they make butter!!" Like I said, we just had to chuckle at that.

It amazes me how they can take what they assume and put so much faith into it. Just like how a child knows that when a storm comes and they are scared that nothing will happen to them because Daddy is there to keep him safe and would never let anything happen to him. You know, we could learn alot from kids. We could learn how to have that child-like faith towards our Father in Heaven, that no matter what happens He will never leave us and He will always help us and comfort us!! It sentences like that one J made that reminds me of what I need in my daily walk!!!

One More Time
Today I faced a mountain
Once again it seemed so tall
I tried to climb but it seemed I'd surely fall
So I knelt and called on Jesus
Just as always I felt his presence
His hand of mercy lifted me just in time.
I want to thank Him
I want to praise Him
His grace has been sufficiant
And like before He's given victory one more time
He was always standing by my side
When the valley was low
Where the river was wide
So I want to thank Him
I want to praise Him
One more time.
Looking back across this journey
Since the day I first met Him
Many times His love and mercy has rescued me
Once again I come before Him
One more time I'll stand to praise Him
For all His blessings yes He has been so good to me.
Oh I want to thank Him
I want to praise Him
His grace has been sufficiant
And like before He's given victory one more time
He was always standing by my side
When the valley was low
Where the river was wide
So I want to thank Him
I want to praise Him
One more time.

Schedule- Dentist, I mean sick.

Yep that's right!!! I was scheduled to go to the dentist, but my body had other plans. It decided that it wanted to be sick. About an hour before we had to leave for the dentist I got real nauseous. You see, there is a virus going around our church and the symptoms are nausea, fever and throwing up. Thankfully I have only had the nausea!! Anyway, Momma had to cancel the appointment. After laying in bed all afternoon at about 6:00 yesterday evening I was feeling pretty good, I thought that it all had passed. Well...I got hungry at about 9:30 and so I ate. That was a bad idea, it brought back all the nausea that had gone away. So I went to bed and woke up this morning with still being nauseous. I still have it some what, it is not that bad. Pray that it will stay away!! I want to go to church tonight!!

Yesterday while I was in bed I watched some movies. After getting bored with the war documentories I decided to watch our Kent Hovind videos. He is a Creation-Scientist and he does a awesome job presenting what he knows. I always enjoy watching his videos. We have had his videos for about 10 years now and I put them in every now and then just so I can remind myself of how much prayer people like him presenting the truth need!! Evolution is not science, but a religion and it is drawing today young generation away from God. If we tell them that we came from animals, what do you think they are going to act like? People trying to teach kids creation and fighting evolution need ALOT of prayer!! The link to Dr. Kent Hovind's site is www.drdino.com Please look into getting his videos if you have never seen them. He has a download section where you can download some of his seminars onto your computer.
Have a good day!!

A special baptism.

Today was the baptism of a friend of ours that we have known for about 12 years. We have been praying for Jason for 10 years to be saved. Two weeks ago my Dad and Bro. Tim went and made a visit to Jason. During that visit Jason gave his life to the Lord and got saved. Boy what a joy it was to hear about it!!! God is so good!

Technical Difficulties.

Okay...here is the story.

I had picked this really cute template and I really liked it. It was black and had pretty pink stars....it was pretty! Well...something went wrong, I have no idea what happened! The page went WHITE and I had these BIG BOLD ugly letters, needless to say something had to be done. So I just had to fix all that! I just got a normal template and I think that I am gonna stick to this one and never change again!!!!! Sound good? It takes to long to have to do EVERYTHING all over again. Jessica was here when it happened and her words were..."OH NO!!! That's Funny!! " So Jessica, it is all fixed!! LOL
Hope everyone has a good day!

A few changes here and there.

Well...I have decided that I would change my template. I like the new one alot! I just have some work that I still have to do on it. I figured out how to get some stuff back on here, but other things are gonna have to go. Hey, it's okay...all that has to go is my little ticker counter thingy for my birthday. I hope that everyone likes the changes.
