"God's love to us immeasurable"

"...his great love wherewith he loved us..." (Ephesians 2:4)
"For God so loved the world, that he gave..." (John 3:16)
"...to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge..." (Ephesians 3:19)

It amazes me how much God loves me! After all I have done, and the things I am going to do...He is still going to love me!

I heard this example one time and I thought I would share it with you.

"How much does Jesus love me?"
"From one nail pierced hand to the other."

Even that statement does not begin to tell how much He loves us. He loves us so much! Why He would love me is beyond my understanding, but He loves me...and guess what, He loves you too!

"...to know the love of Christ..."

That is such a powerful verse! I am so glad I can have the love of Christ, it is so amazing!!

Go, count the sands that form the earth,
The drops that make the mighty sea;
Go, count the stars of heavenly birth,
And tell me what their number be;
And thou shalt know loves mystery.

No measurement hath yet been found,
No lines or numbers that can keep
The sum of its eternal round,
The plummet of its endless deep,
Or heights to which its glories sweep.

Yes, measure love, when thou canst tell
The lands where seraphs have not trod,
The heights of heaven, the depths of hell,
And lay thy finite measuring-rod
On the Infinitude of God!

Sorry....

I am so sorry I have not posted in forever!! It has been a pretty busy couple of days. Saturday we had a table in a group yard sale, and that was a cold, cold day to have a yard sale! I made about $20 dollars at the sale, which was nice.

Sunday morning I got the honor of substitute teaching the 10-12 girls Sunday School class while their teacher had to stay with her sick mother. We don't have a lesson booklet or anything....so I taught on Some things to be thankful for. Michelle (my sister) was in there with me to help me out. She took the prayer requests and handled the games, while I taught the class. I had never taught a class before, so I was really nervous. I was thankful when the girls took notice that I was nervous and they made their selves very vocal and attentive. The class went well. I hope to get to do it again sometime soon, I really enjoyed myself!!

Today we got to do a lot of shopping, my mom got to go to Cato's and spend some money on herself. She really enjoyed herself I think. :)

Friday was my last day keeping and teaching Aiden. His mom has put him into a school to help prepare him for school life. We have not heard if he did good with that today, but I am sure he was fine...he makes friends really easy. So now I have ALOT of free time to practice the piano and hopefully get the recital piece completed before Christmas.

Well...I'm off to finish some brownies for the family.....Mmm, Mmm, Mmm!

Practicing Playing Piano

I'm sorry I have not posted in over a week, but I have been taking a lot of time practicing my piano playing this past week. I wanted to wow my teacher by learning how to play something she had not assigned for me to do.....the song "Just As I Am". With hours of practice and a lot of patients, I did it!! She was so happy! My fingers were so so sore afterwards. :-D

This coming week she has me learning an arrangement of "Silent Night" for Christmas time. I loved the sound of it when she played it for me, it was beautiful!!

Other than piano playing I am taking over doing things for my mom while she is not feeling well. Plus my sister has the week off from babysitting our little cousin, so I have had to keep the boy I babysit company to keep him from be too bored!! That itself is a big job! :-D Well...I hope everyone has a good day. Later on today I will be going to my grandmothers house to help paint a room....that should be fun......I hope!

Doodle Days

Here lately my sister and I have been in a "doodling" mood, we have been drawing people and things. It has been a lot of fun to draw and compare them together. We have had a lot of fun doing so!

My sister Michelle has made some really good pictures that she has put scripture to, I hope she will let me post some sometime. I think they look good!

So in between babysitting, reading, and crocheting I have picked up "doodling" as a hobby. I have really enjoyed it. Other than that I have started a new crocheting project, it is to be a blanket for my cousin Madison for Christmas. I am so excited to get it done. I will post a picture of it once it is finished, if I have enough yarn to finish it!! :)

Michelle made a blanket for our cousin Karlee for Christmas. She is also making some little things Karlee can use for her baby dolls, she has made a hat and she is trying to make some little socks....but it is her first time doing that, so she is not sure how they will turn out.

What do you do when you have spare time? Do you read a book? Play a game? Pick up a note book and pencil and doodle? Ooh...play a game on the computer? :-P Whatever you may do....just have fun!! I know there is no point whatsoever to this post....but hey....it was fun to write!!! LOL

New Poll

I have a new poll in my sidebar...I thought I would add another one for the fun of it! :)

I hope that everyone is having a very good Wednesday. Mine has gone great so far...I get to go to church tonight!! Woohoo!!! I hope everyone has a good night.

Awesome Poem!

I got this in a email and I thought it was really good. I hope you enjoy this awesome poem.

The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama . Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama ! The judge's poem sums it up quite well.

America
the beautiful,
or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.

Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine
choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain

From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always pray.

We've kept God in our temples,
how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges;
who throw reason out the door,

Too soft to place a killer
in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not angry,
that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?

How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?

If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face
and mend our evil way:

Then God will hear from Heaven;
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within.

But, America the Beautiful,
If you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
withdraw His hand from Thee.

Your age by neat math!

I love these little math things. I got this in my email and thought I would share it with you. Have fun!

YOUR AGE BY EATING OUT
Don't tell me your age; you probably would tell a falsehood anyway-but your waiter may know!

YOUR AGE BY DINER & RESTAURANT MATH

This is pretty neat.

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute .
Work this out as you read
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat.
(more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1757 ....
If you haven't, add 1756.
6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number
(I.e., how! Many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.)

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2007) IT WILL EVER WORK

"My Purity Ring"

I had never heard about a purity ring until about four or five years ago, I loved the idea when I heard about it and knew that I wanted one. So on my sixteenth birthday my parents bought me a ring, my purity ring. I asked for this ring because I wanted to make a commitment to God and my parents to remain pure until my wedding day.

Most people call this type of ring a commitment ring or a promise ring, but I like to call it a purity ring. I have had people ask me what it is and what it means, so I thought I would show you a picture of my purity ring and explain the reasons why I got that particular one.

The reason I picked this ring is because of all that it has on it and what they all symbolize.
Gold- purity
White Pearl- purity
Diamonds- purity

All those things symbolize what I wanted the ring for. When I was given my ring I handed over to my parents a paper with all my commitments to them and to God written on it. I made more commitments to my parents than to just remain pure, one was that I would remain in the home till I marry.

I thought I would give you some definitions of the words pure, chaste, commitment, and chasity.

Pure- clean, unsoiled, free from guilt or defilement; chaste, modest.
Chaste- modest, virtuous, virgin.
Commitment- promise, declared attachment to a doctrine or a cause.
Chasity- abstention from unlawful sexual activity; sexual purity; virginity.

The reasons for me staying pure is because of what the Bible says about fornication. Here are the scriptures on it.

I Thess 4:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification , that ye should abstain from fornication:

I Cor 6:13b Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

I Cor 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

I Cor 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

When I go to my wedding altar to take my vows, I want stand there able to say that I am a chaste bride! My ring reminds me of that dream every time I look at it and it keeps me going in the right direction, because it reminds me of the promise I made to God and my parents.

I know this post was not put together very well, I hope I told what I wanted to tell in the right way. :D
