I'm back....

Hello again my blogging friends! I am back from my week off, if you go to my Momma's site you will know why I took the week off. I don't know if any of you saw the comment that my Momma left the other day on the post below, but she was explaining that I have been sick and that is why I have not posted. I have had a terrible cold that my loving brother wanted to share with me and the rest of the family. All the coughing and siffles that came with it. I am happy to say that I am better and feeling pretty good.

I will be leaving tomorrow sometime to stay with my Grandmother who is taking care of our 1 year old cousin Madison. My sister and I will be staying there until Sunday to help out. So due to that I will not be able to post again until then! Things sure have been busy for us this last week and a half, I wish it would slow down just a bit. :) It sure is glad to be back to posting....even if it is just for a short time. Have a good weekend!!

"Grace"

"Something that God does for me, that I could never do for myself, that I could never earn, that I could never pay back."

I heard that definition and loved it!! I wanted to share it with you. It just reminds me of how glad I am to have God's grace!!!

Boggle anyone?

Okay...I thought this would be a fun idea. I want everyone to find words that are 3-letters or more. List as many as you can find. There will be a winner!! There will be no prize, but you will get recognition of winning!
There will be a winner for the most words, and there will be a winner for the longest word. Have fun and enjoy!!!!
P.s. I failed to mention the rules. Thanks for the reminder Bro. Nick!!
The letters must connect in some way. You may go in any direction with the words, however you cannot use the same letter in one word twice. For example....The word -Scheme- if you only had 1 E, you could not do that word. If you get what I mean by that! :) I hope that it's understandable!!

"For the Gospel's Sake."

"And this I do for the gospel's sake..." I Corinthians 9:23

What are you willing to do for the gospel's sake?

There are missionaries who today are in foreign jails because they preached the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are those that are not even allowed to own a Bible, but do anyway, and get caught and tortured.
We on the other hand have the freedom to own a Bible and to tell others, yet most Christians are afraid of that people might think of they tell some one about Jesus.

For the gospel's sake we should be willing to be disliked by others, for the gospel's sake we should be willing to go through whatever it takes to tell just one person about the Lord.
I would never wish this on anyone, but would you be will to be in a hospital for the furtherance of the gospel? Would you be willing to leave your friends and loved ones behind to tell a lost and dying culture about the love of Christ?

What are you willing to do, for the gospel's sake?

I know this was short and it really is not that good, but I was reading this verse last night and it hit me like a ton of bricks! It really made me rethink somethings in my life. I pray that it was a help to someone.

"That's my child"

1) In the court room
Sits God Almighty
As a judge upon His throne
Holiness is all around Him
As He judges sin and wrong
Satan is the old accuser
As he stands before the King
With his list of accusations
All my sins he tries to bring
As he points accusing fingers
To where I stand before the throne
Then a voice behind me whispers
Child I'm here your not alone
That's my Saviour
My Interceder
And He's standing in my place
As He steps before the Father
He speaks one word
And it is grace

Chorus-
He said that's my child
He is forgiven
See my hands, my side, and feet
With my blood I bought his pardon
That's my child
And he is free
There is now no condemnation
Unto them that are redeemed
With my blood I bought his pardon
That's my child
And he is free.

Isn't that contagious?

I just had to share this picture of my daddy! His smile is just so contagious that when I look at this it makes me giggle and smile. I just thought that maybe if someone was having a down day that they might get a little pick me up from a contagious smile such as this one.
Have a good one!
