They are FINALLY married!!

Aren't they just they just the cutest couple that you have ever seen??? They are so sweet!!! The wedding was BEAUTIFUL, and I cried!!! I do miss my brother, it's been really quiet without him. You can go to my Mom's site to see the wedding pictures...I don't have the patience to load all of them when she already has. :o)

Today is the day!

Oh my! WOW! Is it really today?? It just does not seem possible...wow...my bubba is getting married!!! Well...I don't have much time on here, but I just wanted to ask everyone to pray at 2:30 EST for the wedding and for the Bride and Groom!!!

Tomorrow...it's TOMORROW!!!

Can you believe it? The wedding is tomorrow, my big brother is getting married...someone bring tons of tissues!!! LOL We are so excited...we were at the church till one this morning setting things up, and it was no where near done...but it already looked BEAUTIFUL!! So I can only imagine what it is going to look like when it is done.

Today is the rehearsal dinner, and we have a lot of spaghetti and banana cream pie bars to make! But like I said, we are all so so excited about the wedding!

Because of it being the day before the wedding...and I will be gone all day tomorrow...I will not be able to my "Who Said What" this week, but it will return again next week.

PRAY FOR US TOMORROW!!!

We got more snow.

Last Saturday, the day of all those wedding showers that we were having for Jessica...it decided that is was going to snow...and snow. So needless to say there was not that good of a turn out, but we had a blast anyway!!

It is so hard to believe that my brother will be married in 2 day!!! That just totally strikes me as...well...something I am definitely gonna have to get used to. But we are all truly excited for Ronnie and Jessica. Let her know you will be praying for her and Ronnie on Saturday. http://jessicasjournalforjesus.blogspot.com

WE GOT SNOW!

As the title says...we got snow!!!! We have about half an inch or so on the ground, and we may have more coming. I am so excited...I feel 10 again!! It is so pretty! I do have some pictures of the snow, and I will post them tomorrow, hopefully. But for now...

A Missionary that we know, Bro. Tilman...who works in Thailand with those that have leprosy, gave this testimony at our home church years ago, and I thought that I would share it with you today.

Bro. Tilman was a captain on a bus route in Atlanta, and one Sunday morning while he was on his route. A bus kid came to him and asked him to tell his sick brother about Jesus, Bro. Tilman looked at his watch, noted that they were going to be late for Sunday school if he did...and told the bus kid that he would tell him when they got back from church. When they got back from church Bro. Tilman took that boy home and went inside with him. When he asked to speak to the sick brother, he was informed that while they were gone at church...the boy had died.

Bro. Tilman lived with the guilt and regret of not going in and telling that sick boy about Jesus, all because he wanted to get to Sunday School on time. He told us at the church that day that he felt like he shut the door to Heaven on that little boy, and that is something that he is going to have to remember for the rest of his life.

Take the time...tell them...before it's too late!!!

Post Number 400!

It took me 3 years to do it...but here it is...post 400!!

Last night we went to Harvest Baptist Tabernacle, where Bro. Joe Arthur is pastor. Some of you may have heard him preach. Last night was so good!! He preached out of John , in verses 1-10 on the miracle of turning the water to wine. The way that he presented it and referred it to us as Christians was just awesome.

The number of vessels used...6- The number of man.
The height or width of the vessels used...6- The number of man.
The water- A type of the Holy Ghost, and of the Word of God.
The Groom- A type of Jesus Christ.

We being the vessels, made of stone, cold and hard...needed the water (the conviction of the Holy Ghost) to be poured into us. So that we could be presented to the Groom...The Lord Jesus Christ.

Of course, it was better last night then when I am trying to explain it, but it was really good.

When we do leave our church in a few months (Lord willing), the Lord has directed us to that church. We have visited there a couple of times on Sunday nights (our afternoon services are at 3:00 pm.) and we have truly been blessed by what we have seen and heard. I would post the church website...but it is under construction...so...it really would do no good to send it...it has no info on it yet. :o)

"Who Said It???"

A Poem

I got the thoughts for this poem after I found out that a very, very close friend of mine that is 17 years old moved out of his parents house. We have known him and his family since he was just 4 or 5. It was really shocking and heart breaking to hear about it. I am hearing a lot about teens that are moving out of their parents home because they want to do their own thing. It is just really sad.

This poem is also written from some testimonies that I have heard from people after they got back home and straightened their lives out. This is really a warning to all teenagers and young people out there to stay right with God and make the right decisions.

One by one they leave the nest
But not by the parents are they blest
They choose to leave and live their life
Without the rules and "parental strife".

"All of it's grand" they will say
But down the road they'll dearly pay
Doing their thing and having their way
But judgments coming any day.

They begin to notice the trouble their in
They cry out to God "You win, you win"
They come back home and get things right
Now relieved from fighting the fight.

Many years later they'll tell you the story
Of leaving home and expecting all glory
Only finding out what an end sin brings
Having the fun and doing those things.

But one thing they always say
