Reason for my extreme nausea...

I wondered why my nausea has been so bad, well today I went for my first OB appointment and they did my first ultrasound...

TWINS!

We are SO beyond shocked! Twins run no where on either side of the family. This is just a "you've got twins" situation!!! We are thrilled and can't wait for our future! LOL

Congrats Kristina on your twins!! What a huge surprise and blessing! I am an avid reader of your blog. I also wanted to say i have a set of twins that i got pregnant with when my older son was just 3 months old so i know the road you are going to be headed down. Good luck with your new little blessings!

Kristina, I am so happy for you and Josh! Well, and Kloe and now A&B. Thank you for keeping us posted. I've never met you, but I sure feel like I do. Bet you're smiling from ear to ear...

I'm afraid I've joined Ashley's silent 'wow' with a 'Goodness Gracious!" Isn't God wonderful? He never fails to surprise. I cannot wait to see if they're little boys or little girls or one of each! CONGRATULATIONS, CONGRATULATIONS (one for each!)

You and Joshua better start working on names! ;) And I'm off to buy stock in Kit-Kat bars! (I'm joking and hope you feel better soon.)

Congrats!!!!! Because there are two circle things, does that mean they are fraternal?

CONGRATS!!! My first 2 kids are irish twins (11 months apart). My 4th and 5th are twins (I had 5 kids, 4 and under at that time). It was crazy (still is now that those twins of mine are 3 and into EVERYTHING) but its also been amazing!!! Having closely spaced children and twins is so much fun (albeit quite a bit busy!!) :)

I think I'm still in shock!! But every time I see you and how big your belly is getting already I'm reminded and can't help but smile. I'm so excited for y'all. You know I'm always here if and when you need me through this new journey you are going on with the pregnancy. I love you!!!

I am so glad that you have a such a close family there to support you, because three babies so close in age has to be frightening. I would be terrified.

Congratulations, Kristina!! Double the blessing, double the fun! Twins don't run in our family, either, so we were very surprised when my sister gave birth to twins (27 years ago) -- the midwife hadn't even caught it! Rebekah was 20 months old when Rachel and Sarah arrived, and then the twins were 20 months old when Hannah arrived -- so my sister had three in diapers for quite a few years! She did well with them, and you will, too!!

(BTW -- You don't know me, but I've followed your dear momma's blog for a few years, and check in on yours every now and then.)

Whoever asked if they are fraternal-yes they are. 2 amniotic sacs are visible in the ultrasound (I graduate nursing school next month. Sorry for showing off a little bit ;)) Also, congratulations Kristina! Twins are awesome. :)
