Happy Birthday Kimmi!

I just wanted to say "Happy Birthday" to Kimberly. She is a really sweet girl. Today is her 11th birthday. We have not known them for a real long time, but we have already begun to love her and her family. They have been coming to our chruch for 6 months and they have been a real blessing to us!! Love you Kimi!!
Not much going on today. I think we are gonna have Bro. Tim over today. Well actually he is gonna go on visitation with my dad today and he MIGHT bring he is wife and the kids. I don't know. That is really about all that is going on. Oh and today is my laundry day!!! JOY JOY!! NOT!!!!! Oh well.....I will live. I am thankful that I have the clothes to wash though!! Everyone have a good day.

Our Conversation.

I Timothy 4:12- Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

I Peter 1:15- But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Our conversation is something that we should try our best with the Lord's help to guard. Be very careful of what you say, your words reflect upon your testimony. What is the first thing that you would think about a person when you hear him cursing? It certainly would not be anything good about him, and everytime you see him you will think about what you heard from him and his testimony is one that you would say "Oh, he curses." But let's take this from another angle. Now with us being Christians our problem is not cursing, it is gossip, lying and saying rude things. Have you ever noticed that when you hear someone gossipping you think of them as a gossip. Have you ever noticed that when you hear someone lying you think of them as a liar. What about someone being rude? Do you think of them as a rude and mean person? Of course you do. That is the first thing that comes to your mind about them and you automatically think of them as that. See how easy it is to ruin your testimony by your choice of conversation? I know that me and my brother like to play around by teasing each other, and we like to say things like normal brothers and sisters say to each other. I know what I can tease Ronnie about, but other people I am not so quick to tease until I get to know them that is!! Sometimes I get so caught up in the teasing that I will say something mean and rude and I have to appoligize. What I am getting at is that even by playing around sometimes feelings get hurt and your testimony can get hurt in the process. Now, there is nothing wrong with playing around. But watch what you say when you do it. You can play and tease without being rude and mean. Our conversation should be one that would glorify God. Does gossip, lying and being rude glorify God? Guard what you say!! Ask God for the help that you need in that area, and if you honestly mean it God will help you with it. God will not help you if you are not serious to try to change it. Let your conversation be one that would belong to a Christian.

Busy, busy!

Today we are gonna have a busy one!! I don't know exactly when, but sometime today Sis. Crystal and the kids are gonna come over. I am really gonna enjoy that!! Savannah is soooo cute. She is a doll, last night in church I was sitting on the front row with Ronnie and Jessica when someone said this some what loud...."KRISTINA". I turned and looked not knowing who called my name, I looked at Robbyn and she gave me the weirdest look, so I knew that it could not have been her. Come to find out Savannah called my name!! She was looking at a picture of me during church and she wanted me to see it so she called me!! She is such a sweet heart!! The baby's name is Kassidy, she is such a wee thing. She is so little!!!
Later tonight we are having Jessica over so that she and Ronnie can be together tonight. They have seen each other EVERY DAY since Saturday!!! They have it bad, only Ronnie says that Jessica has it worse...I don't know about that though, he got home the other day at 5 till 6:00. As soon as he walked through the door he was in the shower and out in 3 MINUTES, and he was out of the house in 10 minutes!!!! So....as far as who has it worse...I think they equal out. So that is what we are doing tonight! Plus we have the Karlee Bugs today, she is really sleepy right now and needs a nap to the big time!! So pray that she goes to sleep!!! She is really, really cranky!! Talk to all y'all later!!

2 Little Blessings.

This is Bro. Tim and Mrs. Crystal Ellison, he is our song leader and youth leader. I will explain about the girls in a minute.
The Ellison's have been praying for a baby for eight years, but due to health conditions they could not have a child. Last year they signed up for the Foster to Adopt program. They showed up at our house yesterday with these 2 little girls. Savannah and Casidy ages 3 and 3 days. They are precious little girls, we already love them to death!!
Pray that everything works out for them and that they would get to keep these precious girls. It is not certain that they will get to keep them, but if it is God's will all will work out. Pray for the Ellison's!!

Rough weather tonight.

It looks as though we are gonna get some really rough weather tonight. I myself am not lookinh forward to that. I HATE storms. I am gonna feel more safe in this house here than the one we just moved out of. We just moved out of the woods full of DEAD trees, so I feel safer in this house that has hardly any trees. Although my mother brought more worries into my head, she said and I quote "Yep, we don't have to worry about the trees anymore but we really have to worry about tornados now!" that made me feel a whole lot better about tonight. I will be fine though.....if I don't post anymore it is because I was swept away by a tornado!! LOL

I know that my posts have been short lately, but there has not been that much to write about. Maybe something funny or important will happen soon and I will be able to write a HUGE LONG post about it!! Talk to y'all later.

Well....there is not much going on today. Momma is making flyers and Michelle has Karlee. I on the other hand am sick. I have had a cough for the last 4 days and it seems to be getting worse, and today I got the stuffy nose. Pray that it does not get any worse or I will have to go to the doctor. I REALLY don't want that to happen!! I don't like going to the doctor at all.
Tonight there is a revival, I am not sure if we are going to it or not. I also have no idea who is preaching it!! That is bad huh? I try!!! :) Today I thought that I would write a post instead of posting pictures.....y'all might have forgotten how to read by now! LOL Hope all of y'all are having a good day. May it continue to go well...and if it is going bad may it get better!!

Umm, umm good!!

Last night we went to a place here that is called Buckners. It is a place where they serve nothing but good home cooking. They have green beans, fried chicken, stewed tomatos, b-b-q chicken, corn, cole slaw, biscuits and corn bread, mashed potatos and the BEST peach cobbler!! It was some good eating!! I have never seen so much fightinh over the peach cobbler. Me and Michelle and Jessica's dad!! OH BOY!! We knew for sure that before it was all over the some one would end up wearing it!! Thankfully no one did!!! We went and we heard Ronnie and the group sing there last night. It was pretty good. There was another group too. It was one that I had never heard of, they were good as well. Jessica and Kimberly should have pictures posted sometime today I believe. So you might want to check out their sites to see if they have!
Today I have no idea what is in the plans!! I just live here ya know!! LOL
