I've had a couple of my readers ask about how we came to choosing the name Kloe Nikole, if it was family related or what, well...here is the story!
I picked out the name for if we were to have a boy and Josh agreed to it, so I made the deal with him that if I got to choose the boy name that he could choose the girl name. Josh has always loved the name Kloe, and so he told me right off that he wanted to name our little girl Kloe spelled exactly that way....he said next that he wanted Nicole as the middle name, but that he didn't want to use the traditional way of spelling it. So, I started researching all the ways you could spell Nicole and Josh immediately fell in love with the spelling of N-i-k-o-l-e. So, to keep my end of things I said okay and so that is how we came to the name of Kloe Nikole!!! (I LOVE the name btw!!!)
I got to name our son (Joshua) and my husband got to name our daughter (Rachel).
ReplyDeleteTake it easy on yourself and have a good pregnancy.
I liked the spelling of it. Very unique and pretty. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I love the spelling of both names.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a very sweet name... and you were very sweet to let him pick the name...
ReplyDeleteI like the way it looks with the repetition of the 'kole' in Kloe Nikole. My sis-in-law's middle name is Nichole--there are many so many ways to spell it! And so sweet you let him pick a name for your little girl--how lovely and special! I think I might be afraid to do that with my husband! She'd be called something like Craftsmen Ford or Titlest Nike Basspro Shops. ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope you three are doing well this Sunday and enjoying some couple time--it won't be long until there's three!
I think it's neat that your name and her name will both begin with K - My husband and my son's name both begin with J and I have started thinking it might be fun to have any future daughter's name begin with an R to match my name. =)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, glad to hear you are hanging in there with all the recent stress!
I love that name!
ReplyDeleteI love it!! You know I love unique spellings... that's why we have "Candyce" :)
